The new Nuvola Lavazza building encompasses the company headquarters, a multifunctional space (called ‘Centrale’), a piazza, and the company museum. The Lavazza Museum opens with a multi-sensory and interactive itinerary that traces the history of the company and the coffee production process. In addition to showcasing the product and its evolution over time, the museum highlights the company’s strong focus on visual communication, starting with the iconic characters Carmencita and Caballero, created by Armando Testa. Beneath the museum, there is also an archaeological area where, with prior booking, visitors can explore the remains of an ancient Paleochristian basilica, dating back to the second half of the 4th to 5th century AD, which was discovered during the building's construction.
